Popular ISP SMTP Server List
It is becoming more and more common for ISPs to block port 25 for all servers except for their own in
efforts to direct
all
mail their subscribers
send through their mail servers. This way, ISPs can monitor all mail they're responsible for and take any necessary action in case their services
are being used to send Spam or UBE (Unsolicited Bulk Email).
If your ISP is located on the following list and you are having difficulties sending email through a local email client such as Outlook, Outlook
Express, or Thunderbird, please try changing your SMTP server in your mail client's configuration to the appropriate SMTP server below:
| Provider | SMTP Server |
| Alltel | mail.alltel.net |
| ATT | mailhost.worldnet.att.net |
| Comcast | smtp.comcast.net |
| COX | smtp.east.cox.net smtp.central.cox.net smtp.west.cox.net smtp.cox-internet.com |
| NetZero | smtp.netzero.com |
| SBC | smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com |
| Verizon | outgoing.verizon.net |
| WOW | smtp.mail.woway.com |
| Yahoo | smtp.mail.yahoo.com |
